Laptop Carts are available for loan to Education classes.

Currently we have two Apple iBook carts as follows:

• 20 Apple iBooks
  • CD-RW/DVD-ROM's
  • running MacOS 10.4 (Tiger)
  • iLife '06
• 18 Apple iBooks
  • CD-RW's
  • running MacOS 10.3 (Panther)
• Applications include
  • Microsoft Office 2004 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • AppleWorks
  • Web Browsing
    • Safari
    • Firefoxr
  • Web/HTML Editing
    • Dreamweaver MX 2004 (version 4 on CD only cart)
    • Nvu
  • iMovie
  • iChat
  • iPhoto
  • Audacity

The following policies apply to use of the carts:

• can only be used by Education courses
• can only be booked out by Education instructors
• must be picked up by instructors or their tech coaches
• may only be used in the Scarfe building
• may not be booked out overnight - must be returned before CMS offices close
