Computer & Media Labs

• Scarfe 1007 (Microsoft Windows Vista Lab) - 24 hours
• Scarfe 1011 (Microsoft Windows XP Lab) - same as Scarfe 1 Office Hours
• Scarfe 155 (Collaborative Commons) - same as Education Library Hours

Although the two primary computer labs are open 24 hours, the building is not necessarily. You can see if the Education Library is open or check the building hours.

When booked for classes, the computer labs are UNAVAILABLE for general use. To book a lab (course instructors or faculty only), please contact C.M.S. (cms.educ@ubc.ca, 604-822-5248) or use the online form.

Laser Printing

Printing is available on days CMS Offices are open. Printing starts at 7:30 am and shuts down approximately 10 minutes before Scarfe 1 closes. Printing purchases close 20 minutes before Scarfe 1 closes.

Building Hours

According to Classroom Services, the Scarfe Building is open during the following hours:

• Monday to Thursday - 7:30 am to 10:00 pm
• Friday - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
• Saturday - 8:30 am to 6:00 pm
• Sunday - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Holidays - closed
• The South and Library wings close earlier and are closed on weekends
