In order to keep the WebCT databases operating at peak efficiency, UBC IT would like obsolete courses deleted.

IMPORTANT: Please be absolutely certain that you have backed up and downloaded any backup or individual files that you may need in future BEFORE submitting your request to delete a course.

Once a course is deleted, it is permanently removed from the WebCT server, and CANNOT be recovered.

• Instructors do not have access to delete WebCT courses.

• To have a WebCT course deleted, contact Sue Wood (sue.wood@ubc.ca) with the course ID (e.g., educ_123_2003) authorizing that the course be deleted.
   

Note: A WebCT backup .ZIP file can only be read by WebCT. You cannot unzip the course to recover a particular file.
