It can often be convenient to import a copy of the content from one course into another course.

Note: The course receiving the content must be created in CTconnect first, and any existing information in the course will be replaced by the imported content.

• Backup the course to be copied from in WebCT (see Course Backups).

• Download the backup to your computer (see Downloading a Backup).

• Create a new course (see Create a New Course) or open an existing course in WebCT.

• Upload the backup into the course (see Uploading a Backup).

• Restore the backup into the course, making sure that you select the Reset course option (see Restoring a Backup).

IMPORTANT: Be very certain that you really want to clear all existing data and replace the course content with the backup file, as there is no way to reverse the process.
