A course can be personalized to indicate the instructor name; other course settings can also be customized for your specific needs.
Login to WebCT and load the course that you want to work in.
Click Control Panel.
Click Course Settings.
Modify the course settings as desired:
(A) Instructor's Name - this name shows on the course listing on the WebCT home page.
(B) Default Language - the default is English.
(C) Numeric Data Format.
(D) Time Display Format.
(E) Course Menu - the default is to show the Course Menu frame on the left side. There are also options to hide the frame entirely, or to just keep a drop-down navigation menu.
(F) Designer Start Page - choose which page you prefer to show when you enter the course. Homepage is the default.
(G) Edit Course Menu - this option allows you to modify the Course Menu frame which shows on the left side of the screen.
(H) Create/Edit Welcome Page - the welcome page is optional and is viewable by the public when they click the Course Information link from the course listing on the WebCT home page. By default there is no Welcome Page.
(I) Customize Course Appearance - change the colours, icons, background, etc. of your course. These changes affect all pages of your course.
(J) Customize Course News - choose whether and how Course News informs students of any changes or additions to the various course tools.
